We have received reports notifying that third parties are contacting members listed in the Award Winners Registry for commercial purposes, promoting and selling marketing packages purported as "business awards". Members have also received unsolicited WhatsApp messages claiming that they are invited for various "awards". Please be advised that ATC do not issue invitation of such through messaging platforms (eg: WhatsApp). Businesses are advised to exercise precaution and verify the party's identity. The SME Cyber Security Excellence Award launched by the Association of Trade and Commerce (ATC) and supported by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) under the SG Cyber Safe partnership programme, recognises enterprises that have implemented cybersecurity measures and adopts cyber safe approaches in their business processes.
As we continue to develop towards a digital economy and business trading environment, adoption of digital solutions have also exposed enterprises to cyber vulnerabilities such as phishing, scams and malware.
Through the Cyber Security Excellence Award, we evaluate enterprises' cyber security state, readiness and measures implemented and honour enterprises that have demonstrated excellence, innovation and leadership in cyber security.
Applicants under the Cyber Security Excellence Award are assessed through a stringent set of assessment components, that includes cyber security certifications and standards under the Cyber Essentials or Cyber Trust mark.
Participating in the Cyber Security Excellence Award is rewarding as it enables enterprises to assess its current cybersecurity state, understand opportunities for improvement and recognise areas of cyber security excellence, success and strength.
Award winners of the Cyber Security Excellence Award demonstrates the best practices in the enterprise community, reflecting the best in innovation and excellence in tackling cyber security challenges.
