General Event Registration Terms and Conditions

The following shall set the general event registration terms and conditions when an event registration occurs through the Association of Trade and Commerce (ATC) event registration portal. For avoidance of doubt, some events (ie: trade shows, conferences and/or presentation ceremony) may have additional terms and conditions which will be read in additional to ATC's General Event Registration Terms and Conditions.

The terms and conditions shall take effect when you have agreed on and successfully registered yourself for the event through ATC's event registration portal.


1.0 General Events Terms and Conditions
1.1 Registration shall close on the date as stipulated on the registration page or when all seats are filled.

1.2 Registration fee (if any) shall be due and payable upon registration and must be received prior to the event. For government agencies and statutory boards, a 30-days credit term is provided.

1.3 Payment must be made by the closing date stated. Registration will only be confimed upon receipt of full payment. An email confirming your registration will be sent to your provided email address. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration within twenty-four (24) hours of your registration, please contact our Community Office at community@atc.sg.

1.4 The Association of Trade and Commerce (ATC) reserves the right to refuse or register or admit any participant, and to cancel or postpone the programme. If you are unable to attend the event, a substitute delegate is welcome, provided that ATC is notified in writing of the name and particulars of the substitute delegate at least five (05) working days prior to the event, and that the substitute delegate is at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of event.

1.5 The contents and materials provided for the event are the intellectual property of ATC and/or its partners, trainers and guest speakers; All content and materials may not be disseminated or reproduced in any format and provided for participants' personal and educational use only. Commercial use of the contents and materials are strictly prohibited.

1.6 For events where certificates are issued, participants will only receive a certificate if they completed / attended the entire event.


2.0 Payment Methods for ATC events
2.1 All payments are accepted through SGQR / PayNow QR which is provided during registration or through your BizPortal account.

2.2 Please note that ATC do not accept Cash or Cheque payments.

2.3 To avoid delays in registration, please ensure that all registration details are clearly provided. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subjected to the availability of seats. Priority will be accorded to registrations received with payment.


3.0 General Events Cancellation and Refund
3.1 If a fee is required for an event, a sum of S$ 37.80 will be levied for administrative charges for any registration cancellation received in writing on or before the closing date. Depending on the programme, the closing date falls between seven (07) to fourteen (14) days before the commencement of the event.

3.2 However, the fees (if applicable) will remain payable in full:
(a) if notice of cancellation is received on or after the closing date; or
(b) if a participant fails to attend the event for any reason(s) whatsoever; or
(c) if a participant arrives late or fails to attend any part of the event; or
(d) for cancellation of registration of any events for which refund is expressly stated to be unavailable.

3.3 ATC reserves the right to cancel an event or amend the venue, speakers, dates or revise the programmes or fees should circumstances warrants so.


4.0 Transferring of Registrations
4.1 Registrations are transferable within the same organisation. Should you require a transfer or registration, please provide the name, designation, email address and mobile number of the substitute at least five (05) working days prior to the event commencement.

4.2 If a non-member has been nominated to attend in place of the member, any fee difference must be paid before the commencement of the event for the transfer to be valid and effective.
