Named after the French word meaning “cheeky or playful”, enjoué was established in 2016 under the parent company Fat Berries. Pioneered by co-founder Joylyn Koh, enjoué aims to delight their customers with “deliciously fun and playfully wholesome” baked goods. enjoué started in May 2016 and had quickly become known for its delicious and wholesome bakes. enjoué celebrates the art of making breads like how they made breads since the beginning of time.
Every ingredient is important and carefully sourced. Every step is calculated and executed with precision and skills. Bread is the heart and soul of enjoué. Our speciality is our levain range, made from the original sourdough starter that we created years ago. With more than 30 hours of time invested in every loaf, you can taste our love. Pâtisserie is French for pure pleasure. Flaky. Buttery. Crumbly deliciousness.
We use only AOP butter from France, coupled that with layers of dough, cold-ferment for a good measure and of course, a touch passion of love and there are the creations of pure joy! One will be spoilt for choice. All enjoué products are handcrafted from scratch using flours and butters sourced from Europe, making it the preferred choice of artisanal baked goods. All our baked products are made fresh without the use of preservatives, artificial improvers, taste enhancers, colourings and emulsifiers. In enjoué, baking is an act of love.
And love does not just sit there like a stone. It has to be made, like bread, remade all the time, made new. Joylyn Koh, the maestro behind enjoué cemented her place in the F&B industry more than two decades ago.
Like a true innovator to the field, she juxtaposes her precision in the artisan world of bakery with commercial viability. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, the company forged on. An online platform was created within days to cater to customers working from home.
Staff were upskilled, ready to take on a business working against bleak economic times. Vouloir ç'est pouvoir (when there is a will, there is a way), enjoué persevered and emerged victorious. Today, team enjoué runs like clockwork. Michelin-starred chefs, restaurants and café chains and walkin customers all experience the enjoué service. Orders are executed. Demand met. Satisfaction, guaranteed. With the increase in sales by more than 50%, profits have been surefooted and enjoué boasts a robust financial management. Team enjoué is ready to take on new frontiers and looks forward to growing the brand in other regional markets.
